IGS Nordic Branch Meeting 2019

30 October - 1 November 2019, Fosshótel Reykholt, Iceland

The meeting will be held at Reykholt, Borgarfjörður, W-Iceland.  Reykholt was the home of Snorri Sturluson (1179-1241), Iceland most famous author of the middle ages. His work includes the Prose Edda, Heimskringla and the History of Norwegian kings and he is often considered the author of Egil's Saga. In Reykholt, an ancient geothermally-heated pool, Snorralaug, is named after him. The Borgarfjörður region has many places of interest for those who wish to extend their stay and do some travelling in neighbouring area of Reykholt, see
