The Nordic Geological Winter Meeting is held every two years, alternating between the Nordic Countries. The meeting at the University of Iceland on 11-13 May was the 35th, and this was the fifth time it was held in Iceland. About 360 people attended the meeting and about 300 presentations in the form of lectures or posters were given.
