Abstract:
Geodetic measurements and models of the 10-12 November 2023 dike formation on the Reykjanes Peninsula will be presented, as well as models of the pre-diking inflation and the co-diking deflation in the center of the Svartsengi volcanic system. The results allow exploration of models of the coupled system of the Svartsengi magma domain and the dike, for better understanding of the dynamics of the overall system.
